What is Diode Laser Hair Removal?

Diode laser hair removal works by using a specific wavelength - 808nm - which can quickly and comfortably treat the majority of skin types. This type of laser hair removal is more permanent than other types of hair removal, e.g. IPL or Waxing.

 

How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

When the light energy of a laser is targeted at the root of the hair cell, the cell overheats and damages the root. It depends on the stage of growth that the hair is in, but it is probable that the hair will not regrow. This reaction is called photothermolysis.
